Deputy Compliance Officer – Asset Management £mkt rate

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial leading asset manager to undertake a hands on role in a progressive company.

You will assist the Head of Compliance to oversee and direct compliance activities to ensure the Firm meets global compliance standards and policies and its regulatory obligations. This will entail taking the lead responsibility for relationship management and the providing of compliance advice to the business, reporting and supporting business areas, boards and senior management in relation to regulatory developments. You will also be responsible for fostering and developing the compliance culture and assist with delivery of control development action points arising from compliance monitoring reviews and risk management activities and ensure timely delivery of awareness-raising initiatives in respect of regulatory requirements. You will also mentor staff within the compliance team, undertake ad hoc projects and deputise for the Head of Compliance in his absence.

Our client is seeking a robust individual who is self motivated with drive and enthusiasm looking to undertake a challenging role. The successful candidate should have solid compliance experience gained ideally within asset management arena with advisory experience.
