The job will include the following tasks:
- Develop an understanding of each account's organisational structure and business requirements in order to provide a strategic partnership
- Develop and communicate a coordinated PORTIA strategy for the account
- Drive and monitor execution of franchise activities in support of that strategy
- Pursue revenue opportunities and close in aggressive and timely fashion
- New Sales to Existing Accounts
- increase in existing user licenses with same configuration
- Retention of Existing Accounts
- Protect existing spend by components
- System performance
- Workflow and functional ease
- Client knowledge
- Data input and extraction / reporting
- Acquire and maintain PORTIA solutions knowledge - "demo" ready
- Understand Buy-Side operations and trade cycle workflow
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Industry trends and terms
- Understand and apply sales model
- Maintain detailed and current account plans
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree or equivalent work-experience
- Financial industry experience (particularly Fund Management or Buy-Side Operations)
- Solution sales experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work with little or no direction - highly motivated individual.
- Confidence, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and creativity in problem solving.
- Display professionalism, foster positive working relationships through excellent interpersonal skills.
- Can handle the pressures of demanding clients, multitasking and managing large projects.
- European linguistic skills would be an advantage
