Our Outsourcing Advisory Service focuses on providing strong outsourcing support to clients across Finance, IT, HR and Procurement.  The Finance Outsourcing Advisory team has great bredth and depth of the entire outsourcing lifecycle meaning you can expand your knowledge and enhance your skill set. A role within our Outsource Advisory team gives the opportunity to focus enabling companies to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of back-office operations through the outsourcing of non-cost efficient functions and activities.

  • The development of strategy and vision for the transformation of support services [Finance and accounting; Human resources; Purchase to pay; Customer relationship management; Information technology]
  • In-source / outsource options analysis to support decision making
  • Development of operating model for processes, organisation, governance, systems and technology and transition roadmap
  • Development of the outsourcing approach - transform then outsource versus outsource then transform
  • Management of the vendor selection process including due diligence, contract negotiations and contract initiation
  • Provide transition management expertise
  • Conducting post-transition reviews
The role someone who is capable of:
  • Identifying impacts and trends of client cost structure
  • Building trust with peer client personnel
  • Understanding industry context
  • Demonstrating knowledge of client decision-making and support processes and key client business drivers
  • Building follow-on opportunities at existing client
  • Contributing to proposals
  • Managing work-stream on-time with appropriate use of resources
  • Performing complex Financial analyses when appropriate
  • Presenting own work convincingly
  • Managing and developing more junior staff on projects
  • Contributing to firm activities
You’ll have: 
  • Qualified/Part Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Minimum 2nd class degree
  • Knowledge of the BPO industry, key vendors, key trends and the issues affecting clients in Finance and Accounting (F&A)
  • Experience in working as part of a team to deliver BPO advisory engagements.
  • Knowledge of the BPO lifecycle and good project based experience in at least three of the six phases of BPO (Assess, Prepare, Evaluate, Confirm, Contract, Transition)
  • Ability to lead small teams of Deloitte, client and vendor resources
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Self motivated and ambitious with ability to motivate others
  • Proven ability to work effectively in teams
  • Demonstrable business insight and acumen
  • Good problem solving and project management skills
  • Mobility – flexible and able to work primarily Europe, but globally as required
  • Professional attitude/demeanour, honesty
  • Right to live and work in the UK
